Dixon Crow
Male, human, late 30's
Milieu (any that supports his gear and the "bond" with his steed, can replace the kilkine with a horse)
Uses a bolt-action, full wooden stock (like a SMLE Mk. 5), sniper rifle
wears a camo-coat like german paratroopers (reversible, comes past hips))
hardy pants and boots
small pack & leather satchel
binoculars

upper class background
lost wealth joined army
travelled a lot of the world
saw a bit of action
MOS – mechanics, electrics, sniper, observer, scout, light vehicles, riding
 (horse/kilkine)

Dixon has a kilkine called Rudy – a large bipedal flightless bird – as a
steed. Dixon is a scout and tracker. Over the four years he's had his
steed they have developed a psuedo-psychic bond and can communicate
simple emotions over great distances.

There was a time that Dixon fell from Rudy's saddle and down a cliff.
Dixon was seriously injured but Rudy found a way down to Dixon and
helped him get back on the saddle. Through the course of days Dixon
would awake at the edge of a waterhole with Rudy standing guard over
him. On one evening Rudy found fruit for Dixon and dropped it on his
lap. This was the first real evidence that the bond existed and now
they're more than friends; they're family.

Since that time Dixon has a pronounced limp – his hip was smashed by the
fall and has not fully healed – that slows him down and causes pain
with shifts in the weather (from warm to cool or wet).

Has skill in:
rifles (marksmanship, sharpshooting)
scouting
stealth
tracking
foraging
hunting
survival
mechanical repairs
electronics (repairs)
first aid
animal care (kilkine)
animal care (horses, or equivalent)
riding (kilkine and horse)
trading
skinning
tanning
leather craft
wilderness knowledge
history
ancient history
languages (common tongue, ancient tongue, a few tribal languages)
